How I got rid of my stubborn and aggressive stretch marks after my pregnancy.

Before my pregnancy, I used to have this smooth lovely skin

I always get complimented on.

Then motherhood came and everything changed.

I cannot explain how I had so much stretch marks on my body…

From my laps to my tummy, to my backside.

I had it everywhere!

My body was invaded by stretch marks that looked like it was out for my life.

I thought it would disappear after the delivery.

But no.

I tried the home-made remedies…

Some I have listed below for anyone interested in them.

The natural remedies require a lot of patience and time.

And that I didn’t have.

I needed fast-action solution.

And so I began buying anything and everything

God knows that I would have bought land and built a mansion in Banana island if I had invested those monies.

So I was talking with a friend one day and she recommended this particular cream.

By then, I was tired already.

You need to see the joy I felt.

It’s unexplainable.

You know the sort of happiness you feel when you finally found a solution/cure after a long time.

Okay, enough of my story.

I tried it and it worked.

Here is the cream that did wonders for me.

And today, it has vanished completely.

Now, I am back to my old self.

My skin is now so smooth, flawless.

As though I never had them in the first place.

Even my husband couldn’t believe how fast the stretch marks cleared.

I think the key to the success of the cream is in the concentration of the ingredients.

Here are some of the things I used for it.

Aloe Vera

Get aloe vera and break off one of the stalks and rub the gooey insides on your stretch marks (no rinsing required). Alternatively, you can buy aloe vera gel and rub it onto your stretch marks once a day.

Cocoa Butter

Apply a generous amount of cocoa butter to your stretch marks and massage it into the skin. Do this once or twice per day—especially after showering.

Egg Whites

To prepare, whisk two egg whites with a fork. Apply the foamy whites to your skin, let them dry, and then rinse them off. Follow up with a layer of moisturizer or olive oil. Repeat this process every day (or several times per week) to see results.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil’s fatty acids are easily absorbed into the skin.

To use, thoroughly rub coconut oil onto stretch marks. No need to wipe off this natural ingredient afterwards!

Potato

Cut your potato into thick slices. Rub the pieces over your stretch marks, making sure your slice is juicy. Allow it to dry and then wash the residue off with warm water.

Lemon Juice

Lemons are a common ingredient in folk medicine, and for a good reason: The high level of citric acid (up to 10%), a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), can help skin repair itself, including reducing pigmentation that can come with scaring.

Soak a cotton ball in the juice of a lemon, then let it sit on your skin for about 10 minutes. If done regularly, the natural acids of the lemon juice may help lighten stretch marks.

Olive Oil

Olive oil contains plenty of antioxidants and vitamin E. If you apply the moisturizing oil to your skin regularly, you will create a protective barrier that may help you bid adieu to the appearance of stretch marks over time.

First, gently wash and pat dry the area you want to treat. Then, grab some 100% pure olive oil (not an olive oil blend that contains other ingredients). Rub it onto your stretch marks and let your skin absorb the oil. Leave it on overnight, or wash it off with lukewarm water after 20 to 30 minutes. Consider warming the olive oil before application to improve blood circulation.

Argan Oil

Argan oil contains vitamin E, vitamin A, fatty acids, and other nutrients that make skin more supple and less inflamed. That’s why it’s ideal for minimizing the appearance of stretch marks from pregnancy.

To use, massage a few drops of argan oil into freshly washed skin once a day.

Turmeric

When ingested, tumeric has plenty of benefits for pregnant people, including the ability to decrease swelling and inflammation. It turns out that curcumin—the active ingredient in this yellow spice—is also an effective ingredient in healing wounds such as stretch marks.

Mix turmeric powder or crushed turmeric root into water, lemon juice, or coconut oil to form a paste. Apply on stretch marks once or twice a day.

Sugar

When gently rubbed onto the skin, the fine grains of sugar work as a natural exfoliant. Scrubbing away dead skin cells can reduce the appearance of stretch marks, and it also promotes healthy blood circulation (which means increased healing power!)

To make a homemade sugar scrub to combat pregnancy-induced stretch marks, combine 1 cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of each of the following ingredients:

Honey (for moisturizing and tightening)

Olive oil (for moisturizing and elasticity)

Lemon juice (for lightening)

Gently scrub into your skin for several minutes, then rinse with water. Repeat one to three times per week.
